Running Mechanics

Wildfire athletes will learn and master proper running technique to move faster while wasting less energy.
Strength & Coordination
Give your body the ability to be fast.
Strength and coordination will be integrated into practices to build explosive power & target injury prevention.
Mental Skills Training
When your body reaches its limits, it's up to the mind to break past them.
Bi-weekly, the last 30min of a practice will be dedicated to learning mental skill strategies and tools to cope with competition and performance anxiety.
Acceleration
Be a leader from the very first step.
Your first few steps set the tone for your race. We work to make sure that tone is a bold, explosive one.
Speed
The foundation of every sport.

Speed Endurance
When others tire, let's push past them.
Speed endurance is all about holding top speed for as long as possible.
